چکیده
Xylella fastidiosa is among the most dangerous plant bacteria worldwide causing a variety of diseases, with huge economic impact on agriculture and environment. A surveillance tool, ensuring highest possible sensitivity enabling early detection X. outbreaks, would be paramount importance. So far, pathogen biomarkers are studied by means surface plasmon resonance (SPR). Herein, multiparameter SPR (MP-SPR) used for first time to develop reliable label-free method fastidiosa. The real-time monitoring bioaffinity reactions provided as well. Selectivity guaranteed biofunctionalizing gold transducing interface polyclonal antibodies it assessed negative control experiment involving nonbinding Paraburkholderia phytofirmans bacterium strain PsJN. Limit 105 CFU mL?1 achieved direct interaction between its affinity antibody. Moreover, binding also evaluated, returning an constant 3.5 × 107 m?1, comparable those given in literature against antibodies.

Fabrication and Characterization of the Fiber Optical Taper for a Surface Plasmon Resonance Sensor
For a fiber optical surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor a short part of its cladding should be removed to coat a thin layer of a metal. Usually this is problematic when an optical fiber with small core diameter is used. In this paper, a new method using µliter droplet of the HF acid for short fiber optical taper fabrication is reported. Using this method in a multi-mode optical fiber w...
متن کاملAntibody Conjugated Gold Nanoparticles for Detection of Small Amounts of Antigen Based on Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) Spectra
In this paper, a fast and sensitive localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) based biosensor was developed and the optimization of gold – antibody conjugates through investigation of different parameters were performed. Gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) with a size of ~20 nm were synthesized via chemical reduction of HAuCl4 with trisodium citrate as reducing and stabilizing agent. The impacts of pH ...
متن کاملDetection of Salmonella by Surface Plasmon Resonance
This study explores the possibility of simultaneous and specific detection of Salmonella serovars by surface plasmon resonance (SPR). The Plasmonic SPR device was used to develop this rapid assay. The sandwich immunoassay involves the use of a polyclonal anti-Salmonella antibody to simultaneous capture multiple Salmonella serovars present in a sample. This is followed by specific detection of t...
متن کاملSubtractive Inhibition Assay for the Detection of E. coli O157:H7 Using Surface Plasmon Resonance
A surface plasmon resonance (SPR) immunosensor was developed for the detection of E. coli O157:H7 by means of a new subtractive inhibition assay. In the subtractive inhibition assay, E. coli O157:H7 cells and goat polyclonal antibodies for E. coli O157:H7 were incubated for a short of time, and then the E. coli O157:H7 cells which bound antibodies were removed by a stepwise centrifugation proce...
متن کاملToxin Detection by Surface Plasmon Resonance
Significant efforts have been invested in the past years for the development of analytical methods for fast toxin detection in food and water. Immunochemical methods like ELISA, spectroscopy and chromatography are the most used in toxin detection. Different methods have been linked, e.g. liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry (LC-MS), in order to detect as low concentrations as possible. S...
